Wim Cops graduated as Flamenco guitarist under the wings of Paco Pe\u00f1a at the Rotterdam conservatory. He was taught by Ricardo Mendeville, Hans van Gogh and followed masterclasses by Paco Serrano and Manolo Franco, a.o. He studied electrical guitar at \u201cthe Till\u201d, Pop and Rock Highschool and did several international internships for classical guitar at Raphaella Smits, Bram Uten and Adrien Brogna.<\/p>\n
Wim has cooperated with various artists like Martine Haessen (dance), Samina Carremans (\u201cVilla Flamenco\u201d with Federico Ordo\u00f1ez and Alexander Gavalan a.o.), Elise De Vliegher (Guitarra y Cante), \u2026<\/p>\n
Apart from his performances as a solo guitarist, he has shared the stage with Sylvie Marie, Leonard Nolens and Veerle Philippaerts in accompanying speech.<\/p>\n
As a composer, Wim Cops writes for solo guitar, ensemble (Alma de L\u00e1grimas) and music for the accompaniment of short stories and poetry.<\/p>\n
He founded Alma de L\u00e1grimas with Ruben Appermont, with a focus on self-composed music with Spanish and South American influences.<\/p>\n
He teaches at the academies of Dilsen-Stokkem and Lanaken.<\/p>\n

for the exclusive top cuvee \u201cA Tempo\u201d of Domaine P\u00e9gau at Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape.<\/p>\n Ruben teaches at the Art academy of Dilsen-Stokkem and at the Brussels high school of
